Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
About the Role
Actalent is hiring a team of Pharmacy Clerks to support prescription processing and fulfillment in a high-volume production environment. Working under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you’ll ensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation and packaging of medications while maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards and HIPAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules according to written orders
- Retrieve, verify, and process Unit of Use and Bulk medication items
- Maintain medication inventory and replenish automated dispensing cells as needed
- Use handheld scanners to process and track inventory
- Count, label, and package medications with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare completed orders for shipment, including paperwork and labeling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area
- Adhere to all federal and state pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA
- Identify and escalate any issues or discrepancies promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry 20–30 lbs
- Comfortable standing and walking for an entire 8-hour shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations preferred
Work Schedule
- Full-time, onsite role in Lake Mary, FL
- Shifts: Monday–Friday, between 3 PM and 11 PM EST
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay: $20.00 – $21.00
