About the Role
Join Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, as a Behavioral Licensed Clinician on our 24/7 Clinical Support Team. You’ll provide compassionate, expert care to members across a broad range of behavioral health needs — from crisis response to long-term wellness support.
As part of this dedicated, always-available clinical team, you’ll act as a trusted partner throughout each member’s care journey, delivering personalized, evidence-based interventions that truly make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a consistent clinical point of contact throughout the member’s wellness journey
- Assess risk and clinical needs using evidence-based tools and professional judgment
- Provide real-time crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning
- Develop SMART goals to help members achieve sustainable, healthy lifestyles
- Facilitate referrals to appropriate treatment programs and community resources
- Educate members on benefit coverage and care navigation
- Support case management and collaborate across internal teams for seamless care transitions
- Balance live (in-the-moment) queue work with scheduled clinical sessions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance, detailed documentation, and professional communication at all times
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Nursing (psychiatric specialization)
- Active independent clinical license: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC, PhD, PsyD, PMHNP, or RN (psychiatric focus)
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment
- Skilled in CBT, brief therapy, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based care
- Experience in managed care or telephonic counseling preferred
- Must obtain AAS Crisis Specialist Certification within the first year
- EAP/CEAP experience a plus
- Excellent communication, documentation, and multitasking skills
- Must meet home internet requirements (10 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up minimum)
Work Hours & Compensation
- Full-time (40 hours/week) | Overnight shifts (10 hours)
- Includes rotating weekends and holidays
- Salary range: $65,600 – $109,400/year (based on experience and location)
- Eligible for annual bonus plan
